The common thread throughout my research pursuit is the planning, development and management of sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems and their interactions that involve water sensitive urban design, integrated urban systems modeling, productive water use (recuse/recycling, nutrient harvesting, energy recovery from wastewater), slum upgrading, climate-land-energy-water (integrated strategy), GIS based decision support system to transition from ‘gray’ to ‘green’ infrastructure systems, agent based modeling for social-ecological systems; climate change adaptation and resilience, and decision making under uncertainties.
